12. Kidnap Awareness & Risk Assessment - Evaluation will include:
Defining terms: kidnap, hostage-taking, and ransom
Identifying methods to reduce susceptibility to abduction
Completing a comprehensive company-level kidnap risk assessment
Developing a personal risk assessment based on a high-profile journalist scenario
Explaining each phase of the abduction timeline
Preparing effective team briefings on surviving kidnapping situations
Describing the impact of heightened tensions on the treatment of abductees
Outlining strategies to survive a rescue attempt
Explaining reintegration procedures after captivity
Certification Requirement: To successfully complete the program, participants must submit all required coursework within ten days of the course’s conclusion.
